The Bowl

Named after the Alabama state flower, the IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl is a college football bowl game that annually features a representative from the Sun Belt Conference against one from the Mid-American Conference at the historic Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala. The game is televised live on the ESPN family of networks. The recently renovated Cramton Bowl featured the first football game in the South to be played at night – Cloverdale High versus Pike Road High in 1927. The IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl is one of 13 postseason bowl games owned and operated by ESPN Events, an ESPN division based in Charlotte, N.C. ESPN Events owns and operates a large portfolio of collegiate sporting events worldwide. The IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl’s executive director, Johnny Williams, and his team oversee this event from Montgomery.
